Minimalist ECLIPSE geometric earrings are an intriguing play of contrasts inspired by the phenomenon of an eclipse. Handcrafted from exotic Sapeli wood, they are treated with the traditional Shou Sugi Ban fire-charring method.
Exceptionally lightweight, they are paired with a decorative, gold clasp made of stainless steel. Gift-ready, beautifully packed in an elegant box with natural moss.
ECLIPSE earrings are built on a minimalist dialogue of structures: the deep, raw black of charred wood meets the textured, shimmering surface of gold metal. The geometric square form with a central cutout lends incredible lightness to the overall design, making the earrings interact beautifully with light with every movement of your head.
The journey to creating ECLIPSE earrings requires immense precision. Exotic Sapeli wood is hand-cut, sanded, and charred using the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method. Controlled fire extracts a deep, charcoal black from the raw material, while careful brushing reveals the unique texture of the wood. To ensure this jewelry brings you joy for years to come, I protect it with a safe varnish that offers a satin, pleasing-to-the-touch finish.
Despite their distinct form, these earrings are surprisingly featherlight. Weighing just 2 g each, they provide ultimate comfort and remain almost unfelt on the ear all day long.
