My story

MARACHIC is an independent studio run by Marta Bartkowska. The studio creates jewelry and interior objects, made by hand, using natural materials and simple forms. It operates in Poland, following a workshop-based rhythm, without mass production.

Marta’s work focuses on material, proportion, and function. Wood — its structure and natural variations — serves as the starting point for each design. Visible grain, texture, and traces of handwork are not concealed; they are an integral part of every piece.

Marta Bartkowska – Marachic

MARACHIC jewelry is treated as an everyday object, worn close to the body, while the objects are designed as elements of space. The forms are restrained, free from decoration and seasonal references. Each project is developed individually.

The development of the brand’s current character was gradual. Design experience and material-based practice led to a focus on craftsmanship, simplicity, and a repetitive, hands-on working process.

Today, MARACHIC combines precise craftsmanship with an attentive approach to material. Each piece is made in a limited number of editions or as a one-of-a-kind object.

“I create objects meant to be used and present. I care about authenticity, subtle tension, and original form. Each piece should stand on its own — without additional stories.”
